Summer Day Camp

Cost: $125 regular day, $150 for extended day

Missouri City Parks and Recreation is excited to host our 7th Annual Summer Day Camp! We are proud to offer a safe, action packed summer that is sure to be a memorable one. Beginner Archery
Wednesdays, June 12-July 10

Cost: $60 for the 5 week session

Learn archery safety, equipment, shooting form, and shooting etiquette! No equipment necessary. Personal equipment must be inspected before use. This class is for ages 8-18 and will meet Wednesdays, June 12-July 10. A free trial class will be held on Wednesday, June 5. Register for this program by calling 281-403-8637.

Free softball skills & drills clinics will be offered several Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer at Sta-Mo park. Girls ages 6-16 are invited to attend. Call 281-403-8637 to register.

This year-round beginner to black belt program teaches techniques in the art, sport, kidnapping awareness, self defense and self confidence aspects of American karate. Stop by the Rec or call 281-403-8637 to register.
Teen Pickleball
Mondays, June 17-Aug 5 skipping July 1 and July 15

Cost: $60/ 6 week session, $15/ drop-in class

Pickleball is a racquet sport played by 2-4 people that has elements similar to badminton and tennis. This class is for ages 13-18 and will teach the rules and basics of pickleball. Join us to learn a new sport this summer!

Teen Ping Pong

Cost: Free for members, $5 day pass for non-members

Test out your paddle skills at the Rec! This program is for ages 13-18 and offers a chance for ping pong players of all levels to work on their skills. Paddles and balls are included. ID required at the time of rental.

Basketball Summer Camp

Cost: $125 for the week

Improve your basketball skills with Coach Craig Upchurch! Participants will learn ball handling, shooting, perimeter play, post play, defensive techniques and more. This camp is for ages 7-14 from July 15-19. Register at the Rec & Tennis Center or by calling 281-403-8637.

Monthly Programs

Monthly enrollment meeting Mondays

Cost: $60 per month

Join us every Monday evening to gain instruction in basic fencing through advanced tactical techniques. Learn footwork, blade work and bouting. Pre-registration is required. Ages 7 and older are welcome to attend. Call 281-403-8637 or stop by the Recreation & Tennis Center  to register.

Soccer Skill Training
Monthly enrollment meeting Wednesdays

Cost: $100 per month

This class will focus on the fundamental skills of soccer: passing, dribbling, and first touch for players ages 8-13. No matter what level you play, you can improve your ball control and technical skills! Register at the Rec or by calling 281-403-8637.
