At their Monday, July 1 Regular Meeting, Councilmembers proclaimed the month of July as National Park and Recreation Month; appointed members to the Census Complete Count Committee; authorized the negotiation and execution of an agreement for new parks signage and authorized a police vehicles lease contract. Here is a rundown of all Council actions at the meeting:
Mayor Yolanda Ford administered the oath of office to new members of the City’s boards, committees and commissions.
Missouri City Green presented the golden Tree Award to Cornerstone Baptist Church for their contributions toward the City’s beautification.
Mayor Ford proclaimed the month of July as National Park and Recreation Month in the City of Missouri City. Parks & Recreation Director Jason Mangum and his team accepted the recognition.
